Inclined Belt Conveyor System For a Medcal Waste Disposal - Conveyor System in Sri Lanka.
We designed, built and installed a combined inclined conveyor system for a hospital in Kegalle, Sri Lanka to make it easier, safer and faster to get rid of medical waste.
Medical waste are hazardous and contagious and therefor requires careful disposing without minimal human involvement and handling.
Use of This Conveyors
The disposing are burns at very high temperature and reaches an excess of over 400 degree Celsius or even much more. Our engineers had to design 2 different conveyors.
The first inclined motorized conveyor is a PVC belt conveyor that carries the medical waste from the ground level to the second conveyor which is a smooth slide. When the first conveyor carries to the second conveyor the potential energy stored from the motorized conveyor is used by the second slide metal slide to send in the waste directly onto the burning chamber.
